2/12 Ideology

Freedom to Petition
Maintaining one's freedom to petition is arguably the most important right. A government that does not allow the people to voice their discontent, will quickly lapse into a suppressive totalitarian regime.
All of an individuals rights stem from a free population that retains the right to petition their government for change.

  1. I completely agree with you. Without freedom to petition and question some government decisions, there is no freedom. You are right with the fact that a lack of freedom to petition would lead to a suppressive totalitarian regime. The is no democracy without having the freedom to petition.
